Chhattisgarh government plans to install over 5000 mobile towers in tribal areas like Bastar and Surguja regions to improve connectivity.
The decision was made by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during a review meeting of the state's Electronics and Information Technology Department.
Digital connectivity in rural and tribal areas will help bridge the existing digital divide in the country, offering improved access to online services.
The government aims to expand online services under e-District 2.0 and upgrade State Data Centers to Tier-3 standards for enhanced connectivity.
