<ul><li>China has launched a new cable, called GPMI, twice as powerful as Thunderbolt 4.</li><li>The cable is capable of 8K wired connections and supports ultra-high-resolution content and high-wattage power delivery.</li><li>It comes in a Type-C version, supporting 96 Gbps bandwidth and up to 240 watts of power, as well as a proprietary Type-B connector version, delivering up to 192 Gbps of bandwidth and 480 watts of power.</li><li>The GPMI cable offers significantly higher capability than other existing standards, such as HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and Thunderbolt 4.</li></ul>
