Chinese luxury auto brand Zeekr is launching its first plug-in hybrid (PHEV), the 9X, which aims to embody the luxury of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the performance of a Porsche Cayenne, and the all-terrain capability of a Range Rover.
The Zeekr 9X features a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine combined with three tri-silicon carbide-powered electric motors, delivering a total peak power of 1030kW and a 0-100km/h time of 3.1 seconds.
The SUV boasts a 70kWh battery, the largest in a hybrid SUV, with an electric-only range of up to 380km, fast-charging capabilities, and a new combustion engine designed for high-performance electric hybrids.
Equipped with advanced technology, the Zeekr 9X offers a mix of EV-era technology, IC-era luxury, uncompromised performance, dual-chamber air suspension, various driving modes, and Level 3 autonomous driving capability.
