<ul><li>Sidharth Malik, global CEO of customer engagement startup CleverTap, resigned in July 2024 due to personal reasons.</li><li>Cofounder Sunil Thomas has resumed the CEO role. Malik, who joined CleverTap in November 2021, previously held leadership roles at Freshworks, IBM, Microsoft, and Salesforce, and now advises WestBridge Capital.</li><li>Founded in 2013 by Thomas, Anand Jain, and Suresh Kondamudi, CleverTap provides user engagement tools and recently introduced Clever.AI, promising enhanced conversion rates and efficiency. The company, reportedly planning to relocate its headquarters from San Francisco to India, joins other Indian startups witnessing leadership changes, including OLX India and CaratLane.</li></ul>
