CoComelon will be moving to Disney Plus in 2027 from YouTube, with all eight seasons transitioning from Netflix where the show has been hosted since 2020.
The kids' show CoComelon, known for its plotless, CG-animated segments featuring nursery rhymes, is a hit in children's programming, with 601 million views on Netflix in 2023. It was the second most-streamed show on the platform.
Despite its popularity, CoComelon has seen a decline in views by nearly 60% in recent years. It dropped from being the fifth most-watched show on Netflix in 2023 to not making the top 10 last year.
Disney will reportedly pay 'tens of millions' annually for CoComelon as it makes its move to the platform. In addition, Disney is poised to release the first CoComelon movie in 2027.
