COLLARCH’s concrete, 3D printed bus stop forms sculptural shelter in slovakia

  • The Lipskho bus stop in Slovakia merges 3D-printed concrete and parametric design, creating a sculptural shelter at the edge of a Bratislava neighborhood.
  • Designed by COLLARCH in collaboration with Architekti Šebo Lich and ICE Industrial Services, the bus stop features an elliptical cylinder shape with a layered texture resembling natural geological formations.
  • Strategically located at the entrance to the rapidly developing Čerešne district, the bus stop enhances public accessibility and transit conditions while integrating innovative construction techniques.
  • The structure includes integrated lighting, 3D-printed seating finished with tactile larch wood, and a steel and glass roof that minimizes heat absorption, providing a comfortable waiting environment year-round.
