TEN completes the House for Five Women in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing a permanent home for five single women who have survived war, displacement, and neglect.
The house features a unique design with individual living units clustered around communal spaces, and a vibrant facade composed of large, colorful aluminum panels.
Designed in collaboration with local activists, NGOs, and the municipality, the project reflects years of on-site dialogue and intergenerational exchange, emphasizing solidarity and care.
The project not only focuses on the physical structure but also integrates the site with the topography, emphasizing shared activity, ritual, and care within the community.
