Common Sense, Not AI, Could Have Prevented RCB Stampede: K’taka IT Minister

  • While discussing the role of AI in crowd management, Kharge acknowledged that AI could identify high-density areas but emphasized that the ultimate decision-making needed to be done by people on the ground.
  • The Karnataka government has taken accountability for the incident and is working on preventive measures. Kharge mentioned the possibility of introducing a crowd management bill advocating for the use of technologies in the future.
