Construction supply company, Cutting Edge Supply, will pay $150,000 to settle a claim by U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.The company failed to provide a reasonable accommodation for a diabetic worker who requested snack breaks to regulate blood sugar.In addition, Cutting Edge Supply will review ADA policies, provide training, and maintain strict record-keeping practices.Under the ADA, employers with 15 or more employees are required to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
