Construction tech startup BuildPass has raised $7.5 million in a Seed round to expand in the US market.
The round was led by Carthona Capital and supported by Saniel Ventures, Tom Preston-Werner's fund, Recursive Ventures, Horizon VC, and Massive Tech Ventures.
The funds will be used for AI product development to enhance productivity in construction site operations.
BuildPass plans to focus on Australia's small- to medium-sized construction businesses and aims to establish itself as a leader in AI-native construction technology.
