Copilot Wave 2 supercharges productivity with AI across all your Microsoft 365 apps
- Microsoft has launched new AI-assisted features to boost productivity across the Microsoft 365 apps.
- Copilot has been revamped to create collaborative documents known as 'Pages', which enable users to expand and edit on relevant search results from web or work knowledge.
- Microsoft Office’s new narrative builder in PowerPoint can create presentations based on a prompt using Copilot, complete with transitions and speaker notes.
- Excel can do forecasting, risk analysis, and complex data visualizations with Python, using natural language prompts in Copilot.
- The new feature 'Prioritise My Inbox' uses AI to summarise and present the most urgent or relevant emails in Outlook.
- OneDrive enables Copilot to analyze, reason, summarize and compare up to five files.
- New suggested prompts help users create documents using Copilot assistance in Microsoft Word.
- Microsoft will be rolling out the Pages feature to the more than 400 million users of the free version of Copilot via Microsoft Entra Account later this month.
- The new features will be made available in the public preview versions later this month.
- Users can also interact with Copilot agents to automate business processes, which can respond just like a human team member.
