Tadge Juechter, the executive chief engineer of the Chevrolet Corvette, has announced his retirement from General Motors after 47 years with the company.
Juechter has been a beloved figure among Corvette enthusiasts for his willingness to engage with them personally.
During his tenure, Juechter led the development of the award-winning seventh and eighth generations of the Corvette, including the highly anticipated mid-engine C8.
Juechter's final contribution to the Corvette will be the upcoming ZR1, rumored to have around 850 horsepower.
