Crypto trader James Wynn exits his $1.25 billion Bitcoin long with a $25 million profit after predicting BTC hitting $121,000, leveraging 40x on Hyperliquid.
Despite reaching $87 million in unrealized profit, volatility and macro headwinds caused Bitcoin to fall below Wynn’s target, leading him to leave with a $25 million profit.
Wynn closed all 11,588 BTC long contracts worth $1.25 billion, walked away with a net $25.2 million profit, and later flipped bearish to open a $1 billion BTC short with 40x leverage.
After closing his short positions at a loss, Wynn opened a $9.9 million long on kPEPE with 10x leverage, adding to his track record of aggressive trades and profits exceeding $40 million on Hyperliquid.
