They started as a junior web developer and progressed to roles such as an analyst, project manager, team lead, and product delivery manager.
  • The author's abstract thinking, writing, and communication skills acquired from studying philosophy have been advantageous in their IT career. Studying philosophy shaped their ideas and overall approach, even though they didn't work in academia.
  • The author finds satisfaction in the fact that they now attend meetings, engage in abstract thinking, and discuss concepts with colleagues as part of their job. Their career in IT allows them to apply philosophical thinking.
