CTRLZAK design studio completes the Bubo restaurant at Ekies All Senses Resort in northern Greece, inspired by the Japanese term komorebi for sunlight filtering through trees.
The restaurant features tree-like columns supporting a canopy of perforated metal ceiling panels, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of walking through a forest.
Materials like earthy plasters and Greek marble drawn from the local landscape ground the restaurant in its context, while bespoke furniture and water installations add to the nature-inspired design.
CTRLZAK's design celebrates the interconnectedness of the natural world, with elements like light, water, and geological references woven throughout the restaurant's design.
