Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.21 Brings Much-Needed Fixes
- CD Projekt RED has rolled out Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.21 across all current-gen platforms, which brings some much-needed fixes and improvements.
- The patch addresses an annoying problem with 'Run This Town' that made it impossible to deactivate the Aguilar imprint.
- Complete patch notes include fixes in Photo Mode, Vehicle Color Customization, Character Creation, and Miscellaneous.
- Photos Mode now allows spawned characters to be visible after adding a background, and the NPC camera will no longer snap to the ground.
- There are also fixes to NPC and vehicle behavior for various small events throughout Night City.
- Randomizer settings in Character Creation will now be preserved after advancing to the Customize Attributes step.
- Console-specific fixes were introduced that include a pop-up to notify players when access to screenshots is blocked by the console’s privacy settings on Xbox.
- The update also introduces support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards which boosts FPS by using AI to generate up to three times per traditionally rendered frame.
- DLSS 4 also introduces faster single Frame Generation with reduced memory usage for RTX 50 and 40 Series.
- The Transformer model enhances stability, lighting, and detail in motion when DLSS Ray Reconstruction is being used.
