CD Projekt's sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, previously called Project Orion, is now named Cyberpunk 2 and has entered pre-production.
The new Cyberpunk RPG has 96 people working on it, compared to 422 for The Witcher 4, 49 for Project Sirius, and 19 for Project Hadar.
The new name 'Cyberpunk 2' hints at the game's setting, possibly taking place in the year 2 and involving elements like maize agriculture, burial mounds, pottery, and bows and arrows.
CD Projekt aims to explore themes like homelessness and wealth gap in the new Cyberpunk game, but specific details about the setting are yet to be confirmed.
