<ul><li>Sailesh Mehta has been elected as the new chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India for a two-year term.</li><li>Mehta previously served as the Co-Chairman of FAI during Krishnan's tenure as Chairman.</li><li>The decision on the post of Co-Chairman, who typically succeeds as Chairman after two years, has been deferred by the board.</li><li>With over 40 years of industry experience, Mehta has also served as Chairman of FAI’s western region for more than five years.</li></ul>
