Deepinder Goyal revolutionized the food industry with his Food Delivery app, Zomato.
Deepinder Goyal was born on 26 January 198 in Punjab.
After graduating from IIT Delhi, he joined Bain and Company as a Senior Associate Consultant in 2006.
Goyal, then founded FoodieBay.com, which was later renamed as Zomato.com.
With backing from its investors and various rounds of funding, Zomato built both its value and an interesting portfolio of investors.
By 2012, Zomato began expanding internationally, launching its services in countries such as Sri Lanka, UAE, Qatar, South Africa, the UK, and the Philippines.
In 2014, Zomato bought Gastronauci, Poland’s restaurant search service, an Italian restaurant finder.
Deepinder Goyal has made a total of 21 investments.
