Delhi-based electric taxi startup Evera Cabs has secured $4 million in funding from Mufin Green Finance Pvt. Ltd. through convertible debentures and debt.
The funding will fuel Evera Cabs' efforts to enhance sustainable urban mobility by expanding its electric vehicle fleet and serving both business and individual commuters.
Founded in 2019, Evera Cabs is a part of Prakriti E-Mobility and focuses on clean-energy transportation infrastructure.
Nimish Trivedi, the Co-founder and CEO, highlighted the strategic partnership with Mufin Green Finance as pivotal in scaling sustainable electric mobility in India.
The startup stands out by providing app-based cab services with a no-cancellation, no-surge pricing model, mainly in the airport transit sector.
Evera's services cover all terminals at Delhi airport for individual customers and cater to corporations seeking to comply with carbon reduction goals.
Evera acquired 500 electric cabs previously under BluSmart's operations following BluSmart's operational halt in key metro markets, enhancing its fleet management.
The integration of BluSmart's driver network and vehicles positions Evera to set new standards in reliable and eco-friendly urban transportation.
Prior to this funding, Evera had raised $7.14 million in seed funding, and this new investment is intended to strengthen its position in Delhi's electric cab market and pave the way for expansion.
