The Department of Education (DepEd) is partnering with other government agencies to address the alarming rise in bullying incidents.
DepEd aims to combat bullying by working not only within schools but also in households and communities.
Bullying cases in the National Capital Region (NCR) have increased from 2,268 in the previous school year to 2,500 in the current school year.
Government agencies are implementing measures such as increased police visibility, activating intervention programs, and enhancing values education curriculum to address bullying.
