It is not clear whether Allie Arebalo, senior director, US HR, Tesla, left of her own accord or was asked to leave as part of the ongoing job cuts.
Tesla's downsizing has affected senior executives as well, with Rebecca Tinucci, senior director, supercharger business, Daniel Ho, head of new products, Rohan Patel, head of public policy, and Drew Baglino, chief of battery development, also reported to have left.
About 500 employees are expected to be affected as Tesla aims to reduce headcount and cut costs.
