Apple has introduced the iOS 18.5 developer beta 1, providing a preview of new features, interface updates, and bug fixes.
There are six key updates in iOS 18.5 worth attention, including enhancements in accessibility, improved usability in the Mail app, refined Control Center interactions with smart home devices, a revamped AppleCare and warranty section, updates in the Photos app for organization and recovery, and bug fixes and system stability improvements.
The iOS 18.5 beta also has some limitations, such as the absence of the battery intelligence feature and inconsistencies in the cellular data icon.
The next updates for iOS 18.5 beta are scheduled for April 14 and April 28, and the iOS 19 developer beta is set to debut on June 9.
