Diversion, a platform dubbed as the 'GitHub for game development,' has raised $12 million in total funding with a recent seed+ round of $4.5 million led by Konvoy.
The version control platform is tailored for large-scale game development and creative industries, aiming to enhance collaboration, scale workflows, and cater to teams sharing large files.
Diversion currently serves 15,000 game developers, with a monthly userbase growth rate of 20%. The funding will facilitate team expansion and product development to target triple-A studios and larger projects.
Konvoy, one of the investors, expressed excitement for Diversion's innovative solution in version control for developers and artists, aiming to address pain points in managing large 3D assets in the game development sector.
