DJI and SkyPixel Announce 10th Annual Photo & Video Contest with New “Handheld” Category
- DJI and SkeyPixel have announced the 10th Annual SkyPixel Photo and Video Contest with prizes worth over $170,000
- Participants can submit entries including aerial, and a new category introduced this year called 'Handheld'
- SkyPixel has more than 55 million users who have shared more than 50 million aerial images and videos, making it a platform for creative expression
- The contest has expanded beyond the skies to ground-based perspectives, which SkyPixel hopes will be more inclusive
- There are three categories required: aerial photography, aerial videography, and handheld videography
- Each category has Grand Prizes, such as a Ronin 4D-8K camera set valued at over $15,000 for Handheld Videography winners
- Winners will also receive official recognition as a “SkyPixel Creator” and a SkyPixel trophy
- The deadline for submitting entries is February 10, 2025, and winners will be announced on March 27
- The contest is open to everyone interested in photography and videography
- DJI and SkyPixel have partnered to showcase the best of the drone photography over the years
