DJI, the world's largest drone maker, has less than a year to convince the Trump administration to save its products from an automatic US ban.
DJI announced that it would no longer enforce the 'no-fly zones' it designed to keep drones from flying over sensitive areas such as airports and the White House.
According to DJI, getting rid of no-fly zones does not make drones safer, but it might make lifesaving flights easier.
DJI has to convince the Trump administration to avoid the US ban on its products, or else it could face significant consequences.
