Dodge is launching a marketing campaign for its upcoming fully electric EV, the Daytona Charger, called 'Save the Planet'.
The campaign aims to position the new electric Charger as a bold alternative to 'self-driving sleep pods' and to maintain the brand's irreverence.
The swipe at 'self-driving sleep pods' could be directed towards Tesla, as CEO Elon Musk has endorsed ending EV incentives and has promoted autonomous driving.
Dodge's parent company, Stellantis, plans to use the Tesla North American Charging Standard connector for its EVs.
