Dream11, the gaming unicorn, has completed its 'ghar wapsi' by merging its US entity with its Indian entity.
The merger was facilitated through the fast-track mechanism, allowing it to be completed without involving the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
Dream11 stated that the merger aims to provide shareholders of the US entity direct participation in the Indian entity, cut costs, reduce compliances and regulatory overheads, and simplify the group structure for more efficient management.
Dream11, which is focused on the Indian market, saw significant user growth during the IPL seasons and has roped in celebrities for its ad campaign this year.
