The United Kingdom’s temperate rainforests have been significantly degraded due to climate change, logging, invasive species, and mismanagement.
The Woodland Trust, a nonprofit organization, is working to protect and restore the temperate rainforests in Great Britain.
In partnership with the South West Rainforest Alliance, the Woodland Trust is using large drones to plant trees in hard-to-reach areas.
The drones are faster, cheaper, and safer for seed dispersal in inaccessible or unsafe sites, contributing to the restoration of Great Britain's ancient rainforests.
