Danish drug maker Novo Nordisk has partnered with 10 Indian artificial intelligence (AI) startups to streamline its operations.
The company is leveraging tools built by these AI startups for tasks such as document summarization, insights extraction, and editing error checks.
Novo Nordisk's medical writers are using AI to reduce quality check time on regulatory documents from 40 hours to 40 minutes per document.
The drug maker plans to increase its headcount in India by 16% next year and expects its Bengaluru centre to become a data handling hub for research and development.
