Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance being pulled from stores, bringing an end to a botched revival

  • Wizards of the Coast is shutting down Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, the revival game of the Dark Alliance brand.
  • The game received mixed reviews and will be removed from sale on February 24, 2025.
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance was a spiritual successor to the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games but had inconsistent gameplay and mechanics.
  • The developer, Tuque Games (now Invoke Studios), is working on a new AAA game derived from the Dungeons & Dragons universe.
