<ul><li>E-hailing operators InDrive and Maxim have been ordered by APAD to cease operations in Malaysia starting June 24.</li><li>Transport minister Anthony Loke stated that the final decision regarding the cessation of operations rests with him and the companies have the option to appeal.</li><li>The Malaysian P-Hailing Riders Association called for strict enforcement against InDrive and Maxim for allegedly operating without complying with regulations, including drivers not having valid PSV licenses and lacking e-hailing insurance.</li><li>APAD pointed out that InDrive and Maxim violated licensing conditions under the Land Public Transport Act and operators found in violation may have their licenses revoked under the law.</li></ul>
