Finan Center has agreed to pay $270,000 to settle an equal pay lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).</li><li>The center allegedly hired a less experienced male therapist and paid him a higher salary than the female therapists, promoting him multiple times despite allegedly lacking qualifications.</li><li>EEOC sued the center for violating the Equal Pay Act after it ignored requests from the female therapists to equalize their pay.</li><li>As part of the settlement, the center will provide training on setting employee salaries for the next two years.</li></ul>
