Elon Musk is lobbying lawmakers on legislation related to autonomous vehicles, according to Bloomberg.
Musk and his associates have been contacting members of Congress directly regarding the Autonomous Vehicle Acceleration Act introduced on May 15.
Tesla, under Musk's leadership, has made significant investments in AI, robotics, and autonomous vehicles, with a future plan to launch a robotaxi service in Austin, Texas.
However, there are currently no clear federal rules or standards in place to allow full-scale operation of autonomous vehicles like Tesla's proposed Cybercabs.
