Emirates Airlines has partnered with Crypto.com to enable customers to pay for flights and services using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The integration is set to be completed in phases by the last quarter of 2025, with all crypto payments being converted to UAE Dirhams at the point of transaction.
The partnership aligns with Dubai's vision of financial innovation, as revealed during the MoU signing with top-level executives from both Emirates and Crypto.com in attendance.
Dubai's emergence as a hub for digital asset innovation has attracted numerous crypto companies, including the recent collaborations of Tether with Reelly Tech and ADGM's partnership with Chainlink crypto.
