<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="false"><li>EPFO Mangaluru aims to enroll approximately 25,000 new members under the Employment-Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme starting August 1, 2025.</li><li>The ELI scheme, part of Union Budget 2024–25, provides wage incentives up to Rs 15,000 for first-time employees and monthly employer incentives up to Rs 3,000 per new employee.</li><li>For eligibility, employees must earn up to Rs 1 lakh per month, and employers need to showcase consistent hiring practices. Firms with under 50 employees must hire two new workers, while larger companies must recruit at least five.</li><li>EPFO Mangaluru plans to engage with 2,500 firms in Dakshina Kannada, promoting the scheme through various awareness campaigns and initiatives to encourage job creation and support workforce expansion, particularly in manufacturing and services sectors.</li></ul>
