Ericsson has unveiled its first antenna model manufactured in India for global markets, with commercial availability from June and international exports starting in July.
The company is expanding its passive antenna manufacturing and engineering ecosystem in India to meet global and local network needs, with over 50% of antenna content now produced locally.
India plays a significant role in Ericsson's global 5G infrastructure strategy, with a focus on building an end-to-end antenna ecosystem in the country.
The antennas manufactured in India will adhere to Ericsson's high global quality standards and aim to strengthen local collaboration with Indian R&D partners.
