<ul><li>ETH Zurich’s Block Research Group has developed a lightweight and reusable formwork system called Unfold Form.</li><li>This system reduces the use of concrete by up to 60% and steel by up to 90% compared to conventional reinforced concrete floor slabs.</li><li>The formwork mold consists of lightweight plates connected by textile hinges and can hold 1,000 kg of concrete.</li><li>The geometry-based design of Unfold Form allows it to be self-supporting and distribute weight evenly.</li></ul>
