Etihad Airways has launched its Employee Cadet Pilot Programme, allowing existing employees to train as pilots through a fully-funded programme.
The two-year training programme aims to strengthen the pipeline of skilled pilots and will take place in the UAE and Spain.
The selection process included evaluations in English, mathematics, physics, and pilot aptitude, resulting in 10 scholarship spots being awarded to internal candidates representing various nationalities.
The launch of this cadet pilot programme shows Etihad Airways' commitment to developing internal talent and promoting gender diversity in aviation.
