EU antitrust regulators will assess whether Apple’s iPadOS complies with the bloc’s Digital Markets Act.
The move follows Apple's publication of a compliance report for its iPad OS.
The Digital Markets Act requires Apple to allow users to set default web browsers, permit alternative app stores, and enable access to iPad OS features for headphones and smart pens.
DMA breaches can result in fines up to 10% of the company's global annual turnover.
