Anker’s lifestyle brand Eufy is expanding from robot vacuums to robot mowers with the launch of E15 and E18 models designed to automate lawn maintenance tasks.
Eufy utilizes smart vision technology called 'visual full self-driving' (vFSD) for navigation, offering benefits like reliable mowing and improved obstacle avoidance over traditional GPS methods.
The E15 covers lawns up to 800 square meters, the E18 up to 1,200 square meters, both equipped with a 4,200mAh battery, adjustable cutting height, and anti-theft system.
Setting up the E15 is straightforward, requiring mapping runs to familiarize the mower with the lawn landscape, although complex terrains may necessitate manual supervision to prevent mishaps.
Users can adjust cutting height, speed, and schedule mows via the accompanying app, with the ability to return to base during rain or wet conditions.
The E15 allows users to set a cutting direction for striped patterns, offering a simplistic stripe effect on the lawn for aesthetic appeal.
Remote control feature enables users to navigate the mower via on-screen controls and access the camera feed in case of issues, promoting ease of use and troubleshooting.
Eufy's robot mowers are praised for their quiet operation and efficient lawn maintenance capabilities, offering a comprehensive package for automated lawn care.
Users may still need manual touch-ups in hard-to-reach areas, and improvements like enhanced mapping control options are desired for future iterations of robot mowers.
Eufy's E15 (800 sqm) and E18 (1,200 sqm) robot mowers are available for purchase at $1,599 and $1,999 respectively via Eufy and Amazon.
