Europe’s Inflation Rate Fell To 2.2% In March
- Inflation across Europe dipped to an annualized rate of 2.2% in March from 2.3% recorded in February.
- Core inflation, excluding volatile items, declined to 2.4% in March from 2.6% in February.
- Services inflation fell to 3.4% in March from its previous level near 4% for months.
- The decline in inflation has raised expectations of an interest rate cut by the European Central Bank.
