Microsoft's January Xbox Developer Direct focused on four games: Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obsur: Expedition 33, and Ninja Gaiden 4.
The big reveal was Ninja Gaiden 4, the latest installment in the mainline franchise developed by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja.
Other games announced were Ninja Gaiden 2: Black, a re-release of Ninja Gaiden 2; South of Midnight, a southern gothic adventure; and Clair Obsur: Expedition 33, a reactive turn-based roleplaying game.
Additionally, a prequel to Doom (2016) called Doom: The Dark Ages was announced, featuring a more power-focused gameplay and a release on May 15.
