Everything Apple announced during its unofficial Mac Week
- Apple unveiled M4 chip-powered iMac with 24-inch 4.5K Retina display, 16GB RAM and 12MP Centre Stage camera, now available for pre-order from $1299.
- New Mac minis available in M4 and M4 Pro variants. M4 model priced at $599 and M4 Pro priced at $1,399, both available from November 9.
- New M4-powered MacBook Pro with three chip tiers, available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, pricing starts at $1,599 for 14-inch model with M4 chip.
- Apple Intelligence's first wave of on-device AI features, including writing tools, live call transcriptions and notification summaries, now available.
- New hearing health tools for AirPods Pro 2 owners, including a clinically validated hearing test, hearing protection and use as a hearing aid for mild to moderate impairment.
- New iMac, Mac mini, MacBook Pro all come with M4 chips, which support 38 TOPS of AI processing power and have 16GB of RAM as a baseline.
- M4-powered MacBook Pro's Neural Engine for Apple Intelligence is over three times as powerful as the M1.
- New MacBook Pro offers nano-texture display option and 12MP Centre Stage camera for better built-in video call capabilities.
- MacBook Pro delivers an estimated 24 hours of battery life, the longest ever in a Mac.
- Apple Intelligence is only available on a handful of recent devices in each of Apple’s major product categories.
