Damien Kieran, formerly Twitter's Chief Privacy Officer, has joined French social media start-up BeReal as its General Counsel.
Kieran's new role will see him lead the legal affairs of the photo-sharing app, which is focused on fostering genuine connections between users.
The move comes just two weeks after Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, and Kieran cites the "product, people and potential" as the factors that lured him in to BeReal.
With his extensive experience and knowledge of privacy, Kieran is poised to make a positive impact on BeReal as it continues to grow and evolve in the competitive world of social media.
