Ferrari has taken steps to improve the racing memorabilia market by forming a team to reframe old race car parts and prototype engines into displayable works of art for buyers.
The new line of products, called Ferrari Collectibles, includes items like engines, body pieces from Formula 1 cars, valves, pistons, camshafts, and connecting rods.
Ferrari's design team showcases pieces using stands made of perspex or aluminum, giving an effect of suspension and lightness to the objects on display.
Ferrari Collectibles are priced from $700 for smaller engine pieces to $330,000 for larger items like a LaFerrari engine, with most bigger items already sold out.
