Square Enix announced in a live stream that Hrothgar and Viera characters in Final Fantasy 14 Online will soon be able to display the headgear they’re wearing in Patch 7.3.
Hrothgar and Viera have had limited headgear options due to their unique heads with cat ears and bunny ears since their introduction in the 2019 Shadowbringers expansion.
Square Enix will provide further support for headgear, including helmets, in future updates for the game.
In addition to the headgear update, Patch 7.3, titled The Promise of Tomorrow, will include the finale of the Dawntrail story as the main scenario quest, set for an early August release.
Other features in Patch 7.3 include a new allied society scenario, a new level 100 expert dungeon called The Meso Terminal, a new trial, a new 24-player alliance raid named San d’Oria: The Second Walk, a new Unreal trial versus Seiryu, and a new Deep Dungeon called Pilgrim’s Traverse.
Final Fantasy 14 Online is available on various platforms including Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows PC.
