Finland-based company Fiberdom has secured €3.5M in funding to transform market pulp and paperboard into a plastic-free supermaterial.
The funding will be used to invest in research and development, further commercialize the technology, and strengthen core resources.
Fiberdom's patented process converts wood fibers into a durable, plastic-free, recyclable, and home-compostable supermaterial.
The company has commercialized its first application in the form of single-use cutlery and aims to transform various product categories through strategic partnerships.
