Firefox Maker Mozilla Discontinues Pocket and Fakespot to Focus on Browser
- Mozilla is shutting down Pocket, the read-it-later service, to focus on the browser.
- Fakespot, a tool for analyzing online reviews, is also being discontinued by Mozilla.
- Pocket, integrated with Firefox since 2015, will officially shut down on July 8, 2025.
- Fakespot extensions and services will end on July 1 and June 10, 2025 respectively.
