Horst Arts & Music 2025 takes place at Asiat Park in Vilvoorde, Belgium, featuring a three-day festival and a summer-long exhibition titled There Will Come Soft Rains with over 20 commissions by artists, architects, and performers.
The event combines architecture, visual art, and nightlife and focuses on collaboration between artists and architects to design festival stages and spaces, blending architecture and fine art with club culture uniquely in Europe.
Notable projects include the headline architecture installation Dark Skies, survival and memory-themed artworks in the exhibition, and a growing emphasis on legacy through projects like a skatepark design, youth meeting place, and a metal cage left to rewild for five years.
Horst serves as a test site for innovative ways to share space, build community, and redefine cultural infrastructure, embodying a forward-looking approach towards cultural events.
